Atrax started in New Zealand with a simple, practical challenge: airport check-in scales that struggled to stay accurate and reliable over time.
After an early trial at Auckland Airport proved the engineering worked, Atrax’s focus sharpened on baggage weighing systems designed to perform consistently in busy, high-use environments.
That airport foundation became the platform for global scale. Today, Atrax products and systems are installed and used at 800+ airport sites worldwide, and Atrax is recognised as a world leader in the design, manufacture, integration and support of weighing, dimensioning and related control systems for aviation and logistics.
From there, the business has grown well beyond its aviation roots. Atrax has expanded its portfolio to include solutions for cargo and express parcel, transport and weighbridges, marine and seafood, and agriculture and food, bringing these specialist capabilities together under one group so customers can specify and deploy complete engineered systems, supported end-to-end.
